Michael is West Hollywood's best kept secret. His in-depth knowledge and level of research for hair and scalp health, allergies and chemistry is parallel to none. I have been struggling with a severe allergy to hair color with PPD and peroxide for over 15 years. Michael took the time to consult with me and do multiple patch test after carefully listening and evaluating my "hairstory" through an unhurried conversation. I shared the seriousness of my allergy and how I have had cortisone shots in urgent care to calm downthe horrific reactions I was experiencing (hives and blisters that would burst and leave me unable to function for days). It was imperative that the product not touch my scalp and he understood. He carefully customized a blend for me that would not only cover the grey, but weaved it in carefully with foil packets so as to not touch my scalp. The end result was a vibrant and rich chestnut brown with golden sparkles peeping throughout. While the roots are still grey, I am so very pleased with the results. I am thrilled to report that my hair is healthy, the color looks awesome and that I have no reaction at all and it has been 2 and a half weeks. And he was even able to handle my coils and kinks perfectly. This level of care, attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism can't be beat. This was my first time there and Michael did an amazing job! I have not had my hair cut in 14 months and I feel like a new person. Michael is incredibly warm and kind and did an amazing job. He is very knowable and made some great suggestions. I recommend him with zero reservations!
He is the best! Awesome guy and did an outstanding job with my hair!! He did what no other stylist could do and I LOVE the results. Super nice and understanding--truly loves his job and it's amazing. Going to be getting my hair done by him for a long time for sure. Also, his shampoo and conditioner is so good!--highly recommend.
